Associate of Arts Degree in Christian Ministries
(Dance)
The Sonshine Theater Company offers a joint two-three year program
(60 credits) with the Liberty Theological Seminary, Undergraduate
Division, of Montgomery, Alabama. These students may earn an Associate
of Arts Degree in Christian Ministry (Dance), and/or a Teacher's
Diploma and Sonshine Christian Ballet (SCB) Certification. Teacher
Training courses can be substituted by L.T.S. courses to complete
the 60 credits.

Housing needs to be arranged by the individual students; however,
some boarding opportunities are available.
Admission Requirements
Applicants must have achieved a minimum level equivalent to the
Royal Academy of Dance: Elementary Level. However, applicants may
audition if he or she does not have the proper credentials.
In addition, English Composition 1 must be completed before or during
the first year. Other subjects can be completed before, during,
or after enrollment with the STC Department of Higher Education.
Finally, applicant should have a minimum of 15 credit hours before
he/she applies. These must be transferred to the Liberty Theological
Seminary upon admission.
Graduation Requirements
To graduate, students must fulfill the 60 credit hour program consisting
of courses at STC and LTC (see above). In addition, students must
complete Child Growth and Development, Nutrition, English Composition
1, Business Principles (or other practical math course helpful for
running a business), plus an elective (e.g. Introduction to Make-up)
before, during, or after enrollment with the STC Department of Higher
Education.
