Board of Directors

Brenda Bridges

Brenda Bridges is the secretary of STC. She is a wife and a home-schooling mother of three. Brenda has overseen fund-raising and organizational committees with the 4-H Organization in 2 states.

Heather Leong

danced with Ballet Excelsior of Houston for five years, and has traveled internationally as a dance missionary for over ten. Heather is one of the senior teachers at Excelsior School of Dance. She has also managed the graphic arts needs of STC since its inception.    

 

Dr. Frank Longino

recently retired from the position of President of Liberty Theological Seminary, (LTS).  He is a graduate of the University of Richmond, VA (B.A.); Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY (bachelor of Divinity/master of Divinity); and LTS (doctorate of Christian Education).  He pastored Baptist and Charismatic churches for 40 years, pioneering four of these churches.


Pastor James Polnick

graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University, and finished his credentialing process through Global University. He is an ordained minister of the Assemblies of God and serves as the South Texas District Fine Arts coordinator.  Since 1982, Pastor Polnick has produced large Christmas musical extravaganzas. He began with outdoor performances for the general public at Old Towne Spring, while he was Minister of Fine Arts at Spring First Church; and has continued these performances as he pioneers a new fellowship, LifePoint Church, in Magnolia, Texas.


Kathy Romain

is treasurer of STC.  She is a wife and homeschooling mother of three. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Engineering from Grove City College, and has worked as a business/computer consultant with Accenture for eight years. While attending college, she was treasurer of the Student Government Association, and has managed various project budgets over the years. By assisting various non-profit groups with organization & coordination of volunteers, Kathy shows how much she enjoys serving others.

Sonja Staines

Sonja Staines is the President and Artistic Director of the Sonshine Theater Company.


Brenda White

holds a bachelor of music - Music Theory and Composition (Sam Houston State University). She has been:  Music Director at five different churches since 1970; from 1980-1984, Fine Arts Festival Coordinator for South Texas District of the Assemblies of God; and from 1980-2004, embarked upon the task of developing summer programs for teens called Fine Arts Camp. She also developed a nine-month Academic/Arts program, Lindale Christian Arts Academy, which served high school aged students.  Mrs. White is a wife and mother, and is currently on the musical staff with Lindale Assembly in Houston.
